Since Moore Stephens London was founded 96 years ago, the Moore Stephens International Limited network has grown to be one of the 20 largest international accounting and consulting groups worldwide. Today the network comprises 499 offices of the independent member and correspondent firms that make up the network in 84 countries throughout the world.
Led by a Policy Committee, which has representation on it from each part of the world, the Moore Stephens member firms operate through a regional structure, in North America (75 offices), Europe (303 offices), Asia Pacific (49 offices), Australasia (19 offices), Latin America (35 offices) and Middle East (15 offices). The four regional firms are led by Executive Committees, made up of principals drawn from within the region, whose main task is to assure the effectiveness of the network, its standards and its development.
To support the technical side of the Member Firms, there are both International Technical and Tax Committees, whose tasks are to oversee the standards of the member firms and to propagate and monitor within each firm new developments in their respective fields.

Scope of Services Internationally
The services available from each independent Member Firm in the network naturally vary according to the requirements of the international clientele it serves and clients in its local market. Each office has an international liaison who acts as the primary reference for clients and for contacts between offices. Therefore, he may be the principal that handles a particular assignment or he may draw on other individuals with appropriate expertise within his own office or in offices abroad, as circumstances require. In every country tax, audit and accounting services are provided, together with a range of specialist services that have been built up to meet particular market requirements.
In addition, many member firms have a specialisation in the provision of services to shipping clients, which is the basis for Moore Stephens' claim as the leading group of shipping accountants worldwide. The shipping clientele was the original reason for the development of the worldwide network; but today all the Member Firms have a diversity of clients in all forms of industry, professional activity, and commerce.
